Therapy that feels like your most honest conversation yet.

Mind, soul, and everything in between.

Hi, I'm Megan.

I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC008487) in the state of Georgia, with a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Master of Divinity. I have had the honor of being a licensed therapist and being with people in their sacred processes for over 14 years now.

I make space for the big questions: who am I, what matters, and what if everything is sacred here?

I believe real healing needs both the clinical and the cosmic, the mind and the soul.

Where it started

For 11 years, I founded and directed The Wonderhaven, a holistic wellness psychotherapy practice in Atlanta built on a simple belief: your "wondering" matters. What started as my own practice grew into a full team — at our largest, a collective of a dozen therapists and coaches, all doing soul-centered work alongside our clients.

Where it's going

After more than a decade of growing a practice, I made an intentional choice: to come back to one-on-one work, just me. The same heart and clinical grounding that was the Wonderhaven is now becoming The Woo Therapist, a solo practice built around the same belief that shaped everything before it: you do not have to choose between evidence-based and intuitive, clinical and cosmic.

How I work clinically

My clinical lens draws from transpersonal, existential, and Internal Family Systems (IFS) psychology — three approaches that go beyond symptom management to ask bigger questions.

Internal Family Systems (IFS), or parts work, invites you to get curious about the different parts of yourself — the anxious part, the protector, the one that never quite feels good enough — instead of trying to silence or fix them. It's less about becoming a "better" version of you, and more about coming into relationship with all the parts that are already there.

Transpersonal psychology looks past the individual ego to explore the parts of you that feel connected to something larger — spirit, intuition, meaning, the sense that you're part of something bigger than your resume or your to-do list. It's the framework that makes room for the mystical without dismissing it as "just" coincidence or "just" anxiety.

Existential psychology sits with the big, unavoidable questions of being human: mortality, freedom, isolation, and the search for meaning. Instead of rushing past discomfort, it asks — what if the anxiety, the restlessness, the not-knowing is actually pointing you toward something true?

The woo training

I was psychic and intuitive long before I had language for it — a little girl who just knew things, who saw things, who couldn't always explain how or why. Like most kids, I didn't have the support to develop that part of myself fully. It got quieter, not because it wasn't real, but because there was nowhere for it to go. It wasn't until adulthood that I got curious again about the part of me who "just knew" — and decided to actually study it, instead of setting it aside.

Alongside my clinical licensure, I've pursued specific training in the modalities that let me hold both the clinical and the intuitive with developed skill.

I'm trained in Reiki I and II, which shapes how I understand and work with energy in a session. I've also completed specific training in intuition and channeling and QHHT (Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique), so when I say "trust what you're sensing," it's coming from real study, practice, and experience. On the clinical-adjacent side, I bring training in meditation, mindfulness, and somatic experiencing — body-based approaches that help process what talk alone can't always reach.

Sometimes healing happens in the mind, sometimes in the body, and sometimes somewhere words don't quite reach, and I am equipped to meet you wherever that is.

Come as you are

These frameworks mean our work isn't just about coping better. It's about understanding who you are, what you believe, and what actually matters — with real clinical tools alongside the space to explore it all.

Some sessions, we'll talk nervous systems and coping strategies. Others, we'll sit with the questions that don't have easy answers. In others, we’ll meditate or go into somatic journeying. All is welcome here.

I'm here to sit with you in the real stuff — the mess, the meaning, and everything in between.
